How Magazine Live Brief.

This is one of the live briefs I have decided to have a go at.

Founded in 1985, HOW Magazine provides graphic-design professionals with essential business information, covers new technology and processes, profiles renowned and up-and-coming designers, details noteworthy projects, and provides creative inspiration.

HOW Magazine is now accepting entries in it’s annual Logo Design Awards. It doesn’t matter if your logo was created for yourself, for work or just for fun…we want to see what you can do! So take this wide-open media and run with it.

Eligibility

Work must have been created between November 1, 2009 and October 31, 2010. Each entry is $40.

Prize

10 winners will be featured on the HOW website, get $150 worth of HOW books and receive a 1 year subscription to HOW magazine.

You will also receive a graphic to post on your website announcing your winning status.

Though I will re-design the logo and submit it, I have extended it so that I will also be designing the cover and 3 page spreads for the magazine. I felt this was a good opportunity to to get some editorial work for my portfolio.
