At first, I liked the idea of it being something that wasn't completely legible but was obvious what it was when you knew what it said. This isn't something that would work when using it for article titles though.
Quite happy with where these are going. I don't want to go for the typical magazine look where it's obvious they've tried to cram as much information as possible into it.
These spreads are looking more sophisticated than the approach they've got at the moment, but I think it still appeals to the same audience.
