Though I originally said I wanted to keep it to the outlines, I started playing with block colour as I felt there was too much white space. Especially after taking out the image.
It's still not quite there though, there seems to be something missing.
I'm going to start playing around with the spreads, this might give me a better idea of what's going to work. I can then adapt the front cover to suit the spreads.
I thought that now would probably be a good time to reflect back on my target audience; graphic design professionals.
